Kathryn Fehlig has been producing art, on and off, for 50 years. Educated in the midwest where she produced large abstract oil paintings,she has devoted most of her recent years to pastel and a more representational impressionist style. She is well known for her portraits of horses, but now devotes her creative energy towards local landscapes and the flowers that grow in her Montana garden. Kathryn has had one-man shows in Indiana, Missouri and Montana, a two- man show in Helena, Montana and a three-man show in Bozeman, Montana. Her paintings and drawings are in many private collections. Recently returning to the world of fine art after a career in graphic design and computer illustration, she makes her home in Helena where she was born, a fifth-generation descendent of Montana pioneers.
