"A Glimmer of Warmth"

Kathryn Fehlig has been producing art for 60 years. Educated in the midwest where she produced large abstract oil paintings, she has devoted most of her recent years to pastel and a more representational impressionist style.

Well known for her portraits of horses, she now directs most of her creative energy towards traditional landscape using a colorful palette and plein air studies. She is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America. Her work can be found in galleries, private collections and museums.

She makes her home in Helena where she was born, a fifth-generation descendent of Montana pioneers.
