Mary Ann Cherry is a nationally known pastel workshop instructor as well as co-founder of the Pastel Society of the Northern Rockies. Cherry paints all subject matter and her work is sought after by art collectors across the United States.
Her home is along the banks of the Snake River near Idaho Falls, Idaho, where wildlife and waterfowl are an abundant source of painting references. The area lends itself to plein air painting as well, and Cherry is a member of the Snake River Plein Air Painters of Idaho, where she is an active member and webmistress.
Cherry and her husband formed Cherry Art Products in 2006 and market the Cherry Pastel Cleaner.
