Sandy was recently accepted into the "American Academy of Women Artists." The Academy has, during its fourteen years of existence, as one of the nations premier art organizations pursued the goal of encouraging, educating and promoting women in the arts. Assisting women artists with a forum to grow and achieve all that is possible and bringing together women artists with similar dreams, goals and challenges.

It is also an honor for her to have been accepted into "LAI - Landscape Artists International." A collective effort by member artists from around the globe to increase the appreciation of landscape-oriented art by people of all walks of life and to promote the careers of the member artists.
